Here are some tips to follow when staging your kitchen:



  • Tie all the design elements in the kitchen together with a welcoming neutral paint color.
  • Make sure you stage or renovate your kitchen with a style that is harmonious with the design style of your home.
  • Consult a real estate appraiser to determine how your renovation will affect the value of your home.
  • Repair, renovate, and upgrade anything in the kitchen that needs to be repaired or replaced.
  • Don’t spend more than 5% of your home’s value on a kitchen renovation.
  • Contact a professional real estate agent to determine the value of your home in your area.
  • Change your kitchen countertops if they are dated; to create a dramatic new look for your kitchen.

  • Consider the value of your home and the return on your investment to determine if it is worthwhile to install stone (granite, quartz, or marble) countertops or to install lower cost laminate countertops.
